The method includes: obtaining first data of tire pressure sensors of a vehicle in a stopping state and a running state; and performing fault detection according to the first data of the tire pressure sensors in the stopping state and/or the running state, and outputting a fault detection result. According to the solutions provided in the present disclosure, a fault type and a fault source can be quickly and accurately positioned, so that maintenance personnel perform fault maintenance quickly and safely, thereby reducing the costs of maintenance and detection, and effectively improving the efficiency and accuracy of fault detection.
