The present invention provides an alkali metal salt of fluorosulfonyl imide represented by the following general formula (1) and having a content of sulfate ions of 3,000 ppm by mass or less, a content of potassium ions of 10,000 ppm by mass or less, and a content of fluoride ions of 1,000 ppm by mass or less.
