The present invention provides an alkali metal salt of fluorosulfonyl imide represented by the following general formula (I) and having a content of sulfate ions of 3,000 ppm by mass or less, a content of potassium ions of 10,000 ppm by mass or less, and a content of chloride ions of 200 ppm by mass or less.
