The invention relates to a method of manufacturing an automotive vehicle body element (10) comprising a plastic matrix (12), comprising the following steps: - supplying a conductive wire (16) comprising a core made of conductive material coated with a coating, the coating made of a material distinct from the material constituting the core, and - depositing the conductive wire (16) in the plastic matrix (12) so as to form a conductive track (14) in the matrix. The method comprises, after the wire supply step and before the step of depositing the conductive wire (16), a step of locally stripping the coating of the conductive wire (16).
