The invention relates to a vehicle seat protective film (1). The vehicle seat protective film (1) is made from a tubular plastic film, which has a thickness of less than 80 µm, preferably a thickness of 12 µm. The cross-section of the tubular plastic film is designed to be non-closed in the circumferential direction over the entire length between an open lower edge (29) and an at least partially closed upper edge (30). The vehicle seat protective film (1) according to the invention is used to protect a vehicle seat during assembly of the vehicle at the automobile manufacturer, during transport, or in workshops.
