Protective cover for a vehicle seat

The invention relates to a protective cover for a vehicle seat consisting of a circumferentially closed two-layer film envelope (1) which has an opening (4) on its rear side to enable the film envelope to be slipped over a vehicle seat. According to the invention, the rear side (3) of the film envelope (1) has at least three film webs (5, 5', 6) which are connected at the periphery of the film envelope (1) by a sealed seam (7) to a plastic film forming the front side of the film envelope (1). Two of these three film webs (5, 5') are arranged side by side without connection to each other and consist of elastomer films. A third film web (6) on the film rear side consists of a non-elastic film and is connected to the adjacent elastomer film (5) at the edge.
