Rotational unit (4) for a rotational device (1) for a vehicle seat, wherein the rotational device (1) comprises a substructure (3) for a floor part for attachment to a vehicle floor and a superstructure (2), to which a seat can be attached, wherein the substructure (3) can be connected to the superstructure via the rotational unit (4), wherein the rotational unit (4) comprises a first bearing means. The rotational unit (4) is characterized in that the first bearing means is designed as a plain bearing (11) and in the assembled state of the rotational unit (4) is arranged between the superstructure (2) and the substructure (3), wherein the superstructure (2) and the substructure (3) in the region around a rotation axis R of the rotational device (1) have a through-opening (8), and wherein the first bearing means (11) in the arranged state on the rotational device (1) in a radial direction, in the direction of the rotation axis R of the rotational device (1) projects over an inner edge of the superstructure (2) and the substructure (3).
