Rotary device (1) for a vehicle seat, which comprises a base structure (3) for a floor part for attachment to a vehicle floor and a superstructure (2), to which a seat can be attached, wherein the base structure is connected to the superstructure via a rotating unit (4). The invention is characterized in that the superstructure and/or the base structure is designed in plate form and the superstructure and/or the base structure comprises hollow chambers (5, 6, 18, 22, 23).
