The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cylinder head cover (1), in which - at least two metallic bearing bridges (2) for supporting at least one camshaft (3) are provided and aligned with each other, - at least one metallic connecting element (4) is firmly connected to the at least two bearing bridges (2), so that the aligned bearing bridges (2) are fixed to each other in the aligned state, - the at least two bearing bridges (2) and the at least one connecting element (4) are at least partially overmolded with plastic (5) and thereby the cylinder head cover (1) is manufactured. This makes it possible to manufacture the cylinder head cover (1) flexibly.
