The invention relates to an internal combustion engine comprising, on one hand a cylinder head including at least one camshaft and a plurality of bearing caps (16, 18, 20, 22) capable of straddling said camshaft, and on the other hand, a cylinder head cover (12) extending longitudinally to cover said cylinder head and an air intake manifold (14) extending along said cylinder head cover (12). Said plurality of bearing caps (16, 18, 20, 22) is formed in one piece with said air intake manifold (14) and said cylinder head cover (12).
