ANTI-SKID DEVICE COMPRISING A TRACTION DEVICE GUIDED OVER THE TREAD AREA AND A PULLING TACKLE FOR THE TRACTION DEVICE

The invention relates to a skid protection device (1) for the tire (2) of a motor vehicle. The skid protection device (1) has an inner holder (8) configured to be contractible, which when the skid protection device is mounted is arranged on the inside of the tire facing the motor vehicle. When the skid protection device is mounted, an outer holder (80) is arranged on the outside (78) of the tire (2) pointing away from the motor vehicle. Between the inner holder (8) and the outer holder (80) there is a traction section (52) in order to increase the traction of the tire (2) on slippery surfaces. A pulling means (32) serves to contract the inner holder (8). The pulling means extends from the inner holder (8) to the outer holder (80). In order to be able to contract the inner holder (8) securely, a tensioning device (88) with a pulley system (126) for the pulling means (32) is provided.
