COVERING DEVICE AND COVERING METHOD

The invention relates to a cover device for vehicles with a cover tarp that covers the vehicle at least partially in a working position, and with a number of supports carrying the cover tarp, which are pivotably mounted, wherein the cover device is connected via fastening means to a body component of the vehicle and wherein the supports are designed as holding arms that are movably arranged between a non-working position of the cover tarp, in which the holding arms are arranged coaxially and/or parallel to one another, and a working position of the cover tarp, in which the holding arms are arranged shifted in the longitudinal direction and/or pivoted in the transverse direction while covering the vehicle.
