A GUIDE ASSEMBLY FOR A DISC BRAKE

A guide assembly for a disc brake comprising: a guide pin (100), the guide pin having a monolithic body comprising a mounting portion and a guiding portion; and a brake carrier (2) having a retaining bore (102), wherein the retaining bore is configured to receive the guide pin and retain the mounting portion whereby the guiding portion protrudes from an inboard-side of the brake carrier and is configured to slidably support a brake caliper.
