Adapter (126) for a wiper blade, in particular for a motor vehicle, said adapter being intended to connect a wiper blade to a first end piece of a first drive arm, of the lateral locking type and integral with a cylindrical rod defining a pivot axis (Y) of the adapter with respect to said blade, as well as to a second end piece substantially U-shaped of a second drive arm, said adapter comprising a longitudinal body comprising first and second lateral longitudinal walls (142a, 142b) substantially parallel and connected to each other by a transverse wall (144), said body comprising at least one transverse orifice (156) configured to receive said cylindrical rod, characterized in that it further comprises rotation locking means (170b) configured to cooperate with said first end piece in order to lock in rotation the latter and the adapter around said axis (Y).
