A user input device for an interior of a vehicle. The user input device includes a movable part, a first guiding portion, a second guiding portion, and a haptic feedback unit. The first guiding portion confines a radial displaceability of the movable part to a linear movement along a first radial displacement direction and to a linear movement along a second radial displacement direction. The second guiding portion confines an axial displacement of the movable part along an axial displacement axis and allows a rotation of the movable part around the axial displacement axis. The haptic feedback unit creates a haptic feedback for a user in response to the rotation of the movable part. A type of the haptic feedback depends on a direction of the radial displacement.
