The present disclosure relates to a computer system (400) comprising processing circuitry (402) configured to control a cruise control system (22) of a vehicle (1), the vehicle (1) comprising a power system (28) configured to provide propulsion power to the vehicle (1), and an accelerator pedal (20), wherein the processing circuitry (402) being further configured to: - obtain a target speed; - on the basis of the target speed, determine a minimal allowed speed to which the vehicle (1) is allowed to reduce; and - in response to determining that the accelerator pedal (20) has been depressed, temporarily adjust the minimal allowed speed until a criterion is fulfilled.
