METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A TANK

Process for manufacturing a plastic operating fluid tank (1) for a motor vehicle comprising the following steps: - providing a molding core (2) made of a molding core material, preferably free-flowing or pourable, wherein the molding core (2) has at least one holding area (3) by means of which the molding core (2) is held in a tool mold (4) or in a plastic molding machine, - surrounding the molding core (2) with a plastic melt (8), whereby at the at least one holding area (3) by means of which the molding core (2) is held in a tool mold (4) or a plastic molding machine, at least one opening (5) remains in the operating fluid tank (1), - removing the molding core material from the operating fluid tank (1) via the remaining opening (5), wherein a structural element (6), preferably metallic and/or ceramic, is arranged on a limited partial area of the molding core (2) separate from the at least one holding area (3) and is held by the molding core (2) during the surrounding with the plastic melt (8), wherein during the surrounding with the plastic melt (8) an inner surface (9) of the operating fluid tank (1) is formed, onto which a structural feature (10) arranged on the structural element (6) is transferred during the surrounding with the plastic melt (8), and wherein the structural element (6) is removed from the operating fluid tank (1) via the remaining opening (5) after at least partial curing of the plastic melt (8).
