Process for manufacturing a plastic fuel tank

It is disclosed a fuel tank equipped with an accessory comprising a protuberance of which the constituent material, the dimensions and the position are such that it is able to at least partially melt to form a local weld with the tank, the constituent material being a polymer of the same nature as the one of the tank but having a higher melt flow index (MFI) than that of the plastic of the tank.
