The invention relates to a load-dependent brake pressure valve (1) for a vehicle trailer with an unsprung axle. An adjustment lever (5), by means of which an adjustment shaft (3) of the brake pressure valve (1) can be rotated, can be fixed in different adjustment positions relative to a valve housing (2) or a console held on the chassis by means of a fixing device (18). In order to enable manual adjustment of the adjustment lever (5) even for a pressurized brake pressure valve (1) despite self-locking of the transmission mechanism used for the adjustment, the connection (6) between the adjustment lever (5) and the adjustment shaft (3) has a rotational degree of freedom (7). Furthermore, the connection between the adjustment lever (5) and the adjustment shaft (3) is effected via a spring (9) which, following a change in the adjustment position of the adjustment lever (5) without an accompanying rotation of the adjustment shaft (3), can bring about rotation of the adjustment shaft (3) as a result of the self-locking after the self-locking is eliminated. The invention is used in particular for a vehicle trailer of an agricultural vehicle.
