DEVICE FOR REMOVABLY ATTACHING A DESICCANT CARTRIDGE ON A HOUSING SECTION OF A COMPRESSED AIR TREATMENT SYSTEM OF A VEHICLE

The invention relates to a device for releasably fastening a desiccant cartridge to a housing section of a compressed air conditioning system of a vehicle, in particular a commercial vehicle. The desiccant cartridge comprises a cartridge housing with a cover (2) which limits the cartridge housing upwardly, and a support element (3; 30) which limits the cartridge housing downwardly and is releasably fastened in mounting position to the housing section (10) of the compressed air conditioning system (1). The device comprises a thread (3a) arranged on the support element (3) and a counter-thread (16) arranged on the housing section (10) for screwing the desiccant cartridge onto the housing section (10) and a sealing element (7) arranged between the support element (3; 30) and the housing section (10), which is axially pressed and/or can be pressed, in order to seal the support element (3) on the housing section (10) against it. According to general aspects of the invention, the sealing element (7) is arranged in a sealing groove (12) of the housing section (10) and via a fluid connection (11) which fluidically connects the sealing groove with a pressurizable housing space (14) of the compressed air conditioning system (1), is subjected to a system pressure of the compressed air conditioning system in order to produce and/or increase the axial compression of the sealing element (7) between the support element (3; 30) and the housing section (10).
