DRYING AGENT CARTRIDGE

The invention relates to a desiccant cartridge for releasable attachment to a compressed air treatment system of a vehicle, in particular a commercial vehicle. The invention further relates to a device for releasable attachment of a desiccant cartridge to a housing of a compressed air treatment system of a vehicle. The desiccant cartridge (1) comprises a cartridge housing containing a desiccant, with a cover (2) which delimits the cartridge housing at the top, and a support element (3) which delimits the cartridge housing at the bottom and is releasably fastened in mounting position to the housing (100) of the compressed air treatment system, and a thread arranged on the support element for screwing the desiccant cartridge onto a housing (100) of a compressed air treatment system having a corresponding counter-thread. The desiccant cartridge further comprises a sealing groove (12) arranged on the underside of the support element, a sealing element (7) arranged in the sealing groove (12), and a fluid connection (11) between the sealing groove (12) and a pressurizable space within the desiccant cartridge (1), by means of which the sealing element (7) can be subjected to a system pressure of the compressed air treatment system in the mounting position of the desiccant cartridge (1).
