AIR VENT

The present invention shows an air outlet (1) which consists of a housing (4) with at least one opening (7) for supplying an air stream and an opening (8) for discharging the supplied air stream. The air stream is supplied to the air outlet (1) from an air supply shaft or from an air supply line in heating, ventilation or air conditioning systems, in particular for passenger compartments in motor vehicles. The air outlet (1) can be inserted with its housing (4) into a wall opening or mounted behind such an opening. In the housing (4), an insert (2) is mounted rotatably and/or pivotably moveable about a bearing, with at least one arrangement (3) for guiding and/or deflecting the supplied air stream and an element (5) arranged centrally in the insert (2). The insert (2) is connected with the at least one arrangement (3; 9) for guiding and/or deflecting the supplied air stream. The bearing is arranged on the central longitudinal axis of the housing (4). The bearing is achieved by means of a bearing (6), wherein in the bearing (6) an optical coupling of second light guides (17, 28) is provided, which serve to illuminate the air outlet (1).
