A rotary switch device that connects and disconnects fixed contact points 1 and movable contact points 2 by rotating the movable contact points 2 on the fixed contact points 1, in which the fixed contact points 1 and the movable contact points 2 have contact surfaces which are band shapes, to which corrosion-resistant conductive processing is applied, and in which transient contact regions 3, in which the contact points are moved from one end portion to the other end portion in a predetermined connection-operation angle from contact start with respect to other side, are provided in both contact surfaces.
