The invention relates to a device for closing an opening of an optical housing (400) of a vehicle, the device comprising a cap (300), said cap (300) being configured to close the opening by means of a reversible movement. According to the invention, said device further comprises a flexible or articulated connecting means fixed to the cap (300) and intended to be fixed to the housing (400), so that, after opening, said cap (300) remains secured to the housing (400) by said connecting means.
