This outside handle device for a vehicle is provided with an operating handle serving as a hand grip during a door opening operation, and an electric actuator which drives the operating handle between a stowed position and a usage position, wherein, when carrying out an operation to move the operating handle to the stowed position, it is possible to perform a locked stowing operation accompanied by a locking operation of a door latch device which is fixed to the door, and a non-locked stowing operation not accompanied by the locking operation.
