Slot Die Having Divided Manifold
DRIVE
June 18, 2026
A slot die includes a first body, a second body, and a coater shim. The first body has a plurality of manifolds divided to independently accommodate an electrode slurry in isolation from each other. The second body is engaged to the first body to maintain a pressurized sealing of the plurality of manifolds, and the coater shim is tightly interposed between the first body and the second body to form a plurality of slits in communication with the plurality of manifolds between the coupling surfaces of the first body and the second body.
