APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VEHICLE-TO-VEHICLE CHARGING

An apparatus for V2V charging based on OCPP is provided. The apparatus includes a supply equipment communication controller (SECC) based on ISO 15118, mounted on a vehicular Charging Station (VCS) for supplying energy for V2V charging and communicating with an electric vehicle for vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging. The apparatus also includes an OCPP client (OCPP Cli) for communicating with the supply equipment communication controller (SECC), operating as an open charge point protocol (OCPP) client, and communicating with an OCPP server of a charging station management system (CSMS) for V2V charging management. The OCPP client executes an OCPP-based use case, reports a current status of the vehicular Charging Station (VCS) for V2V charging to the charging station management system (CSMS), and processes a response from the charging station management system (CSMS).
