ADAPTER FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE WINDSCREEN WIPER AND ASSEMBLY HAVING SUCH AN ADAPTER

Adapter (1226) for a windshield wiper, in particular for a motor vehicle, of elongated shape and configured to be secured to a hood of a wiper arm. The adapter comprises a front fairing (1294) and a rear body (1295) which has in section a substantially U-shaped form and comprises two lateral walls (1226a, 1226b) connected together by an upper wall (1226c), said front fairing comprising a front wall (1294a) which is configured to extend in front of said rear body and to define with said body a longitudinal space (1296) for receiving at least part of said hood. The adapter is in particular applied in an assembly comprising a wiper arm, and/or a wiper blade.
