The invention relates to a bearing hub (1) comprising a structural barrel (2) onto which is overmolded a composite core (7) made from at least one polymer resin, said core having a flange (3) and an end piece (8) which are arranged respectively around and in a bore (9) of said barrel, the bore (9) having at least one groove (12) which extends circumferentially on its peripheral wall (10a) forming two radial bearing surfaces (12a, 12b), the end piece (8) having a complementary bead (13) which is overmolded in said groove to ensure anchoring of said end piece in said bore.
