ROLLER-BEARING HUB INCLUDING AN INSERT

The invention relates to a bearing hub (1) comprising a structural barrel (2) onto which is overmoulded a composite core (7) made from at least one polymer resin, said core having a flange (3) and an end piece (8) which are disposed respectively around and in a bore (9) of said barrel, the core (7) incorporating an insert (10) which is disposed in the end piece (8), said insert being embedded in said polymer resin and comprising fibres (f) which are oriented axially from the flange (3).
