The invention relates to the field of the automotive industry and more particularly to a luminous device (1) for a motor vehicle comprising: - at least one first air passage opening (2), and - a first shutter (21) of said at least one first opening, the first shutter being able to be moved between a position called closed position and a position called open position of the first opening. The luminous device thus makes it possible to achieve: - efficient ventilation, when the shutter is in the open position, in particular when the vehicle is in motion, and - a relative obstruction to the penetration of dust and liquids, when the shutter is in the closed position, in particular when the vehicle is at rest.
