[MEANS OF SOLVING THE PROBLEM] A map information generation system is configured to include: movement track acquisition means for acquiring a movement track of a mobile body; movement track correction means for correcting a position of the movement track such that the movement track approaches an existing road; new road acquisition means for acquiring a section in which the corrected movement track does not correspond to the existing road as a new road; and new road addition means for adding information that indicates the new road to the map information.
