Side wall covering (1) for the inner side of a transition between two vehicle parts (33, 34) that are articulated to one another, the side wall covering (1) comprising - a flexible, arched middle section (8), - a first fastening device (2), which is pivotally connected about a first pivot axis (6) to at least one first mounting bracket (4), - a second fastening device (3), which is pivotally connected about a second pivot axis (7) to at least one second mounting bracket (4), wherein the flexible middle section (8) is arranged between the first (2) and the second fastening device (3) and is connected with its end regions facing the first (2) and second fastening device (3) to the first (2) and second fastening device (3). In order to achieve low-wear connection of the flexible middle section (8) to at least one of the fastening devices (2, 3), it is provided according to the invention that the connection of the flexible middle section (8) to the first (2) and/or the second fastening device (3) is respectively designed to be rotatable.
