The invention relates to an assembly (1) of a wire (2) preventing the upward movement of the pedals of a vehicle when said vehicle undergoes a frontal impact, and of a support (3) of a pedal impactor fixed to a dashboard cross-member (16). The main characteristic of an assembly according to the invention is that the support (3) comprises a first elongated housing (10) intended to receive a first wire segment (7) of the wire (2), and in that said first segment (7) is forcibly inserted into said first housing (10) to create a snap-fitting connection between the wire (2) and the support (3).
