The invention relates to an actuator device (2) for a rear-view apparatus of a motor vehicle with at least one holding element (4), with at least one actuating element (6) that is transferable into a plurality of functional positions, in particular from a basic position into at least one end position, with at least one drive means (8) that comprises at least one, in particular wire-shaped, shape memory element (10), which extends between the holding element (4) and the actuating element (6) and is fixable or fixed to both, whose extension is changeable upon actuation, in particular electrical energization, and through whose change in extension the at least one actuating element (6) is transferable from one functional position into another functional position, in particular from the basic position into the end position or vice versa, and with at least one heat transfer means (14) that bears against the drive means (8) at least in the end position of the actuating element (6). It is characterized by at least one switching means (16), by which the at least one drive means (8) and the at least one heat transfer means (14) are arrangeable or arranged in contact-free relation to one another in the basic position of the actuating element (6) and/or by which the at least one drive means (8) and the at least one heat transfer means (14) are arrangeable or arranged at least partially in contact with one another at least in the end position of the actuating element (6).
