The disclosure relates to an actuator device comprising at least one holding means to which a rear-view means can be fixed or is fixed and which is movably mounted relative to a housing component of a rear-view device, at least one actuating device comprising at least a first actuating unit with at least one first actuating means and at least a second actuating unit with at least one second actuating means for moving the holding means relative to the housing component, wherein the first actuating means and the second actuating means each comprise at least one shape memory element and the first actuating unit and the second actuating unit are mechanically connected in series between the housing component and the holding means, wherein the first actuating unit has a first maximum stroke and the second actuating unit has a second maximum stroke that differs from the first maximum stroke, as well as a rear-view device with an actuator device according to the invention.
