DRIVE
November 30, 2016
The invention relates to a trailer coupling for a motor vehicle (200) with a coupling arm (20; 320), wherein the coupling arm (20; 320) is movably, in particular pivotably, mounted on a holder (11) fastened or fastenable to the motor vehicle (200) by means of a bearing, in particular a pivot bearing (16), with respect to at least one bearing axis, between a use position (G) and a non-use position (N), wherein the coupling arm (20; 320) in the use position (G) for attaching a trailer or fastening a load carrier protrudes further rearward in front of a rear (202) of the motor vehicle (200) than in the non-use position (N) provided for non-use of the coupling arm (20; 320), wherein the bearing has a holder bearing receptacle (104) arranged on the holder (11) and a coupling arm bearing element (40; 340) supporting the coupling arm (20; 320), which is movably mounted on the holder bearing receptacle (104), wherein the trailer coupling (310) has a fixing device (160) for fixedly fixing the coupling arm to the holder (11) in the use position (G) and/or the non-use position (N). It is provided that a bearing component of the bearing is connected to at least one component (183, 383, 483), in particular a second bearing component (182, 382, 482) of the bearing or the coupling arm (20; 320) or a component of the fixing device (160), by means of a locking arrangement (181, 381, 481).
