An optical block (BO) is intended to equip a vehicle and comprises a housing (BB) having a rear wall (PR) provided with a hole (TT), suitable for allowing the passage of a front part of a socket (DL) of a lamp (LE), and, on a rear face (FR), a protuberance (PP) surrounding this hole (TT) by defining for a socket (DL) of this lamp (LE) a protective wall against water. This protuberance (PP) comprises, in a lower part (PI), at least one opening (OE) suitable for allowing the automatic evacuation of water that is present on its internal face (FI).
