A device (D) supports a light block penetration unit (BF) intended to be installed in a front part of a motor vehicle comprising a radiator placed behind a grille. This device (D) comprises a plate (PS) which, on the one hand, fixedly supports the block (BF) and is intended to be secured to a piece of equipment of this front part between the radiator and the grille, and, on the other hand, comprises at least one first opening (011-012) suitable for allowing a flow of air that has passed through the grille to pass through so that it reaches a front face of the radiator.
