The present invention relates to a system for securing a stationary trailer to a tractor, comprising a coupling head (100) for connecting a pressure medium line not connected to the tractor with a counter-coupling head of a service brake line of the trailer; and a blocking device (200) for captively blocking the coupling head with the counter-coupling head. It also relates to a method for securing a stationary trailer to a tractor, wherein the trailer has a service brake that operates through application of a pressure medium, the service brake is connected with a service brake line, and the service brake line has a counter-coupling head for receiving a coupling head. By applying a pressurized fluid to the service brake line, in that the pressurized fluid acts on the service brake line via the pressure medium line, the service brake of the trailer is activated.
