Brake system for a tractor

The present invention relates to a brake system (178) of a tractor. The brake system (178) solely comprises electro-mechanical brake actuators (20). A pneumatic brake circuit (179) is provided for being coupled with a pneumatic trailer brake system. An interface (180), here built with coupling heads (18, 19), is used for pneumatically connecting the pneumatic brake circuit (179) of the tractor with the trailer. The inventive brake system (178) comprises a trailer control unit (16) with control logic for controlling at least one pneumatical pressure at the interface (180) in dependence on the actuation of the electro-mechanical brake actuators (20).
