INVISIBLE MARKING METHOD, ILLUMINATING LAMP PROVIDED WITH AN INVISIBLE IDENTIFICATION MARK AND VEHICLE PROVIDED WITH SAME

The invention relates to a vehicle light (20) whose technical identification marking on the lens (1) becomes invisible after assembly of this lens (1) onto the housing (12) of the vehicle light (14). To achieve this, the vehicle light (20) is equipped with at least one peripheral fastening zone, weld tooth (11) in the illustrated embodiment, intended for aggregation onto the protrusion (13) of the housing (12) of the vehicle light (14). The weld tooth (11) bears on its end face (15) an identification mark. This identification mark disappears after aggregation by thermal treatment of the peripheral zone (11) of the lens (1) onto the housing (12). According to other embodiments, the fastening zone of the lens (1) consists of ribs or beads formed on the periphery of the lens (1). Application in particular to front or rear lights of motor vehicles.
