To achieve this, the vehicle light (20) is equipped with at least one peripheral fastening zone, weld tooth (11) in the illustrated embodiment, intended for aggregation onto the protrusion (13) of the housing (12) of the vehicle light (14). The weld tooth (11) bears on its end face (15) an identification mark. This identification mark disappears after aggregation by thermal treatment of the peripheral zone (11) of the lens (1) onto the housing (12).
