LOCKING DEVICE

A locking device for locking a cutting mechanism for a harvesting machine to be transported on a transport vehicle against a support frame of the transport vehicle comprises, for example, a coupling section (11) on the cutting mechanism side and, for example, a receptacle (35) on the vehicle side for the coupling section, which can be brought into locking engagement with each other. The coupling section has a base (15), a shaft (17) extending from the base and a head (19) projecting relative to the shaft. The receptacle has a stop surface for the base of the coupling section and an opening for guiding at least the head of the coupling section in a guiding direction. A locking element (60) is provided at the receptacle, which is movable between a release position and a locking position and is designed to engage behind the head (19) of the coupling section guided through the opening in the locking position.
