FRESH AIR SUPPLYING DEVICE FOR AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE AND CORRESPONDING MANUFACTURING METHOD

The present invention relates to a fresh air supply device (11) for an internal combustion engine (2), comprising a charge air cooler (17) as well as a housing (12) that surrounds the charge air cooler (17) and defines a fresh air path (13) running through the charge air cooler (17). Simplified manufacturing of the fresh air supply device (11) is achieved in that the housing (12) is manufactured, at least in a molding section (24), from plastic (25) that is molded onto the charge air cooler (17). The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing such a fresh air supply device (11).
