HANDHELD INTERROGATION AND DISPLAY FOR REMOTE SENSORS

A handheld interrogation device 200 includes a controller 201 configured to generate a power signal. The controller 201 is also configured to determine tire pressure data based on a signal received from a tire pressure sensor 100. The handheld interrogation device 200 also includes a primary coil 218 coupled to the handheld interrogation device 200 and configured to transmit the power signal to a sensor coil 102 of the tire pressure sensor 100 and to receive a data signal from the sensor coil 102, via inductive coupling, in response to the primary coil 218 being within a predetermined distance of the sensor coil 102.
