WIPER BLADE AND WIPER ASSEMBLY COMPRISING SUCH A BLADE

The invention concerns a wiper blade (2) for a motor vehicle window pane, comprising a wiping portion (12) and a connecting portion (14) to a drive mechanism (4, 6) of the blade, said wiping portion comprising a support means (16) on which a window wiping blade (20) is mounted and inside which is housed a stiffening element (18) of the blade. According to a characteristic of the invention, the connecting portion (14) is arranged in the extension of a proximal axial end (8) of the wiping portion. The invention also concerns a wiping assembly comprising a drive head (4) mounted on a motorized drive shaft (6), and a wiper blade (2) as previously described.
