The invention relates to a windscreen wiper blade of a motor vehicle, comprising a wiper blade (20) intended to be pressed against the windscreen to be wiped and at least one structural element of the wiper to support the blade over its entire length, said structural element comprising at least one stiffening element (18), said stiffening element being extended beyond an axial end of the wiper blade by a connecting portion (14) comprising a wall (35) carrying fastening means (44) to a system for rotating the wiper blade. According to the invention, the connecting portion is formed by the stiffening element folded back on itself at least twice so as to present substantially an "S" shape in which said wall carrying the fastening means extends vertically in line (A) with the wiper blade. The invention also relates to a wiping assembly comprising a drive head (4) mounted on a motorized drive shaft (6), and a wiper blade (2) as previously described.
