A gas turbine engine (20) according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a shaft (74) configured to rotate during operation of the gas turbine engine (20), and a squeeze film damper (60') radially outside the shaft (74). The squeeze film damper (60) includes a cavity (62') including a film of lubricant axially between first and second cavity seals (84, 86), and further includes a reservoir (70') fluidly coupled to the cavity (62'). A method is also disclosed.
