A battery pack including a battery cell including an electrode assembly, a molding portion coupled to the battery cell and around the battery cell, a protection circuit module extending along one side of the battery cell in a width direction of the battery cell and connected at the one side, the protection circuit module electrically connected to the electrode assembly, and a buffer portion coupled to the molding portion at another side of the battery cell opposite to the one side, and including an elastically deformable material.
